Job Brief

The Test Engineer will establish test procedures and coordinate testing of products under development.

Responsibilities

• Work with the BA team to transform the business requirements to user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Creating Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Logs, Defects, Test Summary Report, etc.
• Create test automation scripts and execute them during the test execution phase
• Coordinate defect triage meetings with the developers
• Perform manual test execution using test management tools
• Demo user stories during sprint demos

Required skills and experience

• Excellent knowledge in software testing & industry best practices in Regression testing, System Integration Testing, Test Management, Test Automation, etc.
•  Hands-on experience with testing web applications, web services, and mobile Apps
• Hands-on experience in Database testing and good knowledge of SQL
• Testing performance using tools like JMeter or similar.
• Knowledge of test management tools like ALM, Azure Test Plan, Xray, Zephyr, etc.
